Before the Christmas break we were involved in the specialist metal work for a home in South Dublin, Ireland.
The project was coordinated and designed by Sheehan + Barry Architects.
The architects and designers attention to detail was carefully coordinated by the linking of finishes and surfaces. The Irish Grange Limestone, vanity top was locally sourced from James Grogarty Stone. The supporting legs in antique patinated brass finish were precision milled to add detail. Patination is a technique used to tarnish the metal to produce the dark antiqued effect specified.
No bathroom is complete without a mirror. In total, we produced eight bespoke mirrors for this private residence. These thin framed mirrors were produced with a polished and satin nickel plated finish over brass.
